It's no surprise that floral prints will once again rise in the spring, much like it does every year. However, for 2013, it seems this floral invasion isn't just raiding the jersey knit or the silk chiffon. Harder fabrics such as denim, twill, canvas, and printed duck have been attacked with the flowered patterns.
Flowers have always been perceived as a very girly and feminine motif, but in upcoming fashion, designers are giving it a bit of an edge. Using these ladylike prints in garments like motorcycle jackets, vests, and skinny jeans, creates a more fierce cover instead of a gentle one.
And of course, you can't forget about the accessories! Adding some floral Docs or even a stunning headband can make your Psycho-Feminine look complete!
Now in Poofhawk Clothing, I have dipped my toe slightly into the waters of this trend. I, nevertheless, as Spring emerges, do plan on creating some more wicked floral pieces.
